In case you didn't know, there is already a night mode in the current github version. But I do like the idea of having a lot of stylesheets to choose from.

Unfortunately I'm a primary FF person. I do keep a copy of Chrome installed but more for trained monkey purposes. I poke it with a stick to do a trick and put it back in it's cage.

Do you happen to know anything about developing firefox plugins?

I wrote a couple simple ones many years back for like FF 3 or something very early.

Well, if you are up for it, you could contact /u/slandy about possibly setting up a firefox version of the Snapzu Enhancement app.

The only major changes that would have to be made are related to storage and enabling nightmode (as these are done using the chrome extension API). I'll start working on a Firefox version as soon as I work the bugs out of 0.1.0. As it stands I'd like to get these features polished and onto the Chrome store:

              - 'expando' support on tribe pages

              - webm support

              - nightmode

I expect that will be out the door some time over the next 24 hours, after which I'll start the port.

However, if you (joethebob) would like to help and get started before then, you are more than welcome to!

If you're offering for me to add this as a styling option in SE, I'd be happy to do it.

Maybe a 3 way toggle between 'day', 'night' (currently in development) and 'midnight' (this one)

If you'd like to add it feel free. It's public domain, so there are no encumbrances to be had. If you are feeling up to it, maybe pull an index from the relevant userstyles.org page and make them available as a selectable option.

This just seemed to be the most relevant place to publish a link for new users that use stylish.

I also use my laptop in a completely dark room. I love this add-on. Thanks!

Hey I know you just threw this together and probably already know, but the grey text in discussions is pretty much unreadable. I was using this one over the other dark theme that's floating around until that issue.

That's basically where I left off on the discussion panel. The next revision should have something more visible.
