It's amazing how some of those early/mid 90s SF movies are still quite watchable because of their reliance on models/real effects. I would love it if we returned to the old magic of hollywood. Anyone remember that old TV show that would reveal all the tricks they used to make movies...think it was called "Movie Magic"? Great show.
