Uh-oh, a robot just passed the self-awareness test
Roboticists at the Ransselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York have built a trio of robots that were put through the classic 'wise men puzzle' test of self-awareness - and one of them passed.

Good. We were about due. Soon we'll have to form an activist group to protect the robot from zealots.
Do these 3 duplicate robots have identical voices? If not then this is a pretty remedial currently do this this while piggybacking on nuance(siri)/google/cortana. However if all three robots have identical voices, and it's using stereo sound and other positional sensors to determine that it's voice come from itself, then this is a pretty impressive task.
It's the beginning of the end for us
The title of the article is interesting, but the article itself left a lot to be desired. I understand this is likely a large step in robotics, but what they accomplished seems pretty simplistic. No need to start worrying yet...
It really depends on how they achieved this, if the robot was programmed or trained for this specific problem then it's simplistic, if not then this is really impressive.
