    Well yes, but that falling into the bag thing, I thought that if he did that into his mother's pouch - ouch.

      They do that, falling into their mother's pouch until they are quite big or can still fit or their mother will let them. Sometimes you see a kangaroo mum with a giant pouch and a bunch of feet and legs sticking out. Doesn't look that comfortable.

      People who bring up orphaned joeys have a bag like this and the joeys will jump in for comfort. The ones I've seen are usually made of hessian though.

        Aww that is so sweet! Australia goes from one extreme to the other with dangerous spiders to cute marsupials! Can't say I would like to have carried sprog around in a pouch. A sling you can remove is much nicer! He'd be asleep and I could take it off and leave him. Hmm... perhaps I should've used a carrier bag instead.
