Photo captures abandoned dog in Louisiana chasing after owner
The heartbreaking moment was caught for posterity: A dog, sprinting down the road after a pickup truck, moments after apparently being abandoned at a convenience store. A witness told CBS affiliate WWL-TV in New Orleans the man in the truck "deliberately" left the behind the dog, which chased him down the road. Animal control experts were dispatched, but neither the truck nor the dog -- an apparent black German Shephard/lab mix -- were found.

Seriously, how do you even abandon a dog knowing what will happen to him and what kind of unconditional love it has for its owner. Might as well take him outback behind the shed and blow the little guys brains out, it would have been kinder. He needs to watch Hatchiko that cold bastard.
