    The Cleveland Indians'have had 69 years to change their patently-offensive, wildly bigoted logo, so who's running late now?

      True,so why now?

        Because enough already? Because Toronto's become a cosmopolitan, pluralistic society with a right-of-action against crass, commercial bigotry? Because if not now, then when? Because it ought to be obvious that the Los Angeles Kikes, the Washington Redskins and the New York Niggers are terrible names for a business?

          I have agreed above with you about the bigotry. I do not need to be reminded that names like the ones you mentioned are just that. I am questioning the timing of why now. I still am!

            I’m sorry. I guess I’m not clear. Is it the litigant’s or the court’s timing that gets you? Maybe the court will agree with you and order the unfortunate name and logo not be used after this season. I hope to hear how this goes.

            @AdelleChattre -

            It is not the court,but the timing of the legal challenge. I think the challenge should wait until this baseball season is over.

            The judge dismissed it. Go Owlbears!
