I'm really glad that Ohio cared more about fair business practices than they did about being able to get high.
I think that the group pushing Issue 3 was banking on a lot of people going, "Legalize Marijuana? Hell yes," rather than looking into the specifics of the plan. Some blame the campaign centered around keeping kids from getting edibles for getting it rejected, but I think it was more about the fact that production was going to be given to 10 companies, with individuals being able to grow their own, but with restrictions that I didn't really understand. It's definitely a good thing that people did their homework, and hopefully a reasonable proposal willl be brought about in the next voting opportunity.
They rejected fascism, not cannabis.
