We'd have a lot more of these if it wasn't for all the NIMBY going on along the coastline. I worked for a utility company that purchased a few wind farms in Iowa, and in my experience, there seems to be as many wind farms as corn farms. (And usually all on the same plot of land)
Also, that cost per kw/h is really high, which is a shame because it'll drive people away from wind in the near term.
