They could,but we know they won't. From my link above,it is stated;
By the time the kids do grow up, cable tv will either be gone,or be charging around $500.00 a month for 15 minute shows that are mostly commercials.
I just found out this week about ESPN being available on Sling via streaming. Bought an HDTV antenna and I'm cutting the cord this month.
