Living conditions are comparable to western European countries, while costs are really low (they are for me at least, I'm from the US.) Weather in the summer is pretty warm, it was 88F (31C) a few days ago. Winter is usually mild. Crime is comparable with western European countries. I haven't personally had any problems, and only one friend had a laptop stolen when he left it unattended on a park bench for 10 minutes (he still somehow doesn't see why he should feel like an idiot about that).
you living in Budapest now?
I am!
How are the living conditions, costs, weather, crime, and such? It's on my top European cities to travel to.
