I got a new place this fall and I've put up thermometers all over the place to find out what zone I am in and where my microclimates are.

I don't have the benefit of a flooding river to provide nutrients, but my land is in the forest, so the nutrients will be there, I just have to clear a big enough area to get sunlight to the ground.
