E. coli infections linked to Costco chicken salad
Health investigators confirm a handful of cases of E. coli have been linked back to chicken salad sold at Costco. Nineteen people have been infected in seven states, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The majority of the cases have turned up in four Western states. So far, five people have been hospitalized and two have developed a type of kidney failure called hemolytic uremic syndrome. No one has died.
