Me and the wife fired our two banks in 2008 whenever the banks managed to crash the economy. We went all in on credit unions and never looked back.
5+ years later, things are still awesome. Splendid customer service, very flexible online banking, Saturday hours. Due to the way CU's are structured, we even got money back last year. Probably getting more back this year since I rolled an old 401(k) into the bank as well.
So yeah. If you hate banks, you can always pick your shit up and move it elsewhere. You gotta juggle bills for a couple of months, but it's absolutely worth it.
We never could. It just took us a bit of time to learn this.
