Smerinthus cerisyi

Late afternoon moth sighting here in Western Massachusetts. Not nearly as large as yesterdays moth but just as beautiful. (From Wikipedia): The One-eyed Sphinx or Cerisy's Sphinx (Smerinthus cerisyi) is a moth of the Sphingidae family.

What are you using to photograph these? The pics are excellent.

Thank you very much, the moths did most of the work. I use a little point and shoot by Panasonic called the Lumix DMC-Lx3. It photographs in the RAW file format instead of JPG so I'm able to get a lot of detail.
