      Want to expand on that some? There's seems to be roughly 250 years of history current in disagreement with you. Between founding fathers owning slaves, laws detailing how slaves should be counted since they were not men, massacres of tens of millions of native americans.

      Early colonial america was quite racist. But, we see this through the lense of history. At the time, it was de rigueur and socially normal to have a slave population to do all of the heavy work. This mirrored a lot of what was happening in europe at the time with Serfs

        With me? No, I won't argue through a lens crafted in today's armchair quarterback of history. All of which you sited is historical fact. No argument here. The question I would pose though, is how did we get here to examine these facts, and what do we do to go forward.

        Tens of millions of native americans, really.
