I dropped out of the bidding at $420 mill. anything over that was just plain price gouging, right up there with those microtransactions from EA. I have limits.
I can make you several paintings for that amount ($ 420 million) if you like. No problem.
With legitimate provenance this would be reasonable, but I am skeptical that these would be original Maternitus'
I have an advantage over Da Vinci. I can paint you custom whatever you want for $ 420 million. I can very much assure you they are painted by me. Hell, I even make you a sticker to go with it. :-P
