Food factories are disgusting in so many ways. Try driving through eastern NC some time, the horrible smells that you will occasionally drive through are the swine factories.
But wait! There is more..During a hurricane, the "lagoons" full of shit overflow and pig shit is deposited everywhere. Everyone's yards smell like pig shit for at least two weeks after said storms.
...and it all flowed into the rivers, then on into Pamlico Sound.
