I can see myself being in HIS shoes now He meant he was a fan of her music and inviting her was to try to hang out and maybe also talk music with her, and he came off as asking her out and he surely did know she was a minor but didn't intend it that way, I imagine Again, at first I thought, ok that is NO excuse.
