Not just by death. In fact in several ways, losing someone alive is harder logically speaking given the unknown's propensity for return as both hope+disappointment, the premonition of lifespan by species, the lack of commodification all-'round. In death, never anger. In otherwise loss, occasional but rare for a few seconds followed by guilt but even that's a big "if."
