Netflix to spend $6 billion on content this year. Six. Billion.
Netflix has waded into the “Too Much TV” debate. Netflix has got to be one of my favorite modern things. It is simply better than cable and its just going to get better with more people making the switch. The only thing I'm scared/curious about is what will happen when they reach the critical mass, where virtually everybody has made the switch and there is nowhere to expand to.
I bet the price will also go up.
In my country cord cutting is more expensive, if you still want internet. Triple play, phone-internet-cable tv is cheaper than just phone+internet. But since my Chromecast, I'm watching less and less actual tv and more Netflix and Youtube and other on-demand stuff.
