I think this is why the US Gov is being quiet about Bitcoin...A perfect tool for financial surveillance
Bitcoin keeps track of all transactions on the blockchain. The ledger lists which wallet(s) a Bitcoin has been through. This article doesn't surprise me.
If you really want to keep your transactions private, use something like Monero, and do your research.
