Kinda reminded me of WWII when Britain hired some of their brainy people through tough crossword puzzles to help in breaking the Enigma Machine.
Video games obviously can't be a complete replacement for all interviews though. The interviews still help evaluate core skills like communication and presentation, which might be difficult to test for through the medium of games.
