Atheism and the meaning of life
I had a recent conversation on Twitter with a Christian on whether my life has meaning. Many such theists seem to believe that life can have no meaning for atheists. The fact that we can be out there, enjoying life and the experiences it offers, seems impossible for some to grasp.

If the only reason your life has meaning is that you’re hoping for the next, longer(?) life to be better, then I’m sorry to tell you, but your life sucks. And it’s not the fault of an Imaginary Friend in the Sky.
It does indeed.
Life is meaningless in general. You eat, you poop, you pass on your genes and die. Trying to inject meaning into it is what leads to believing in Santa for grownups.
If you’re looking for purpose look no further than your biological imperatives of survival and survival of your offspring. If you’re looking to inject meaningfulness into that purpose then you will have to invent some form of cosmic significance. But I’d stick with raw purpose.
Nobody wants to die.
These debates usually, probably are done between olders and youngers...and of course across religions, all of them.
