As an expat here for over 15 years I partially understand the Thai government's concern - there are many losers that come here.
Having said that I am very concerned that foreigners have been singled out...most criminals in Thailand are Thai nationals, several of them in
high positions as the new government is divulging every week. Almost every country is covered by CCTV, both inside and outside.
I'm happy to be very old, I'm out soon!
