Yup. As a Californian, I can vouch that this shit sucks.
I went to the beach and yeah, insane. Water was roiling as far as I could see from the top of a 30 foot cliff. There's usually a 30 foot beach below the cliff, not saturday, and the waves were splashing over 2 story houses on top of it. It was crazy to see.
