    I really ejoyed the article as well as the comments following it. I remember I was going to buy a used 8080 something or other from work and at the last minute held off. At Christmas back then, my SO gifted me with a brand new Compaq 386 which was so much faster than what I was using at work, I could believe it. It was like magic.
