    Not sure that I believe everything that those Harvard researchers say. There are multiple ways to interpret the facts, and that is just one of them. Not the most likely one, either, IMHO. The tumbling motion of the object argues against it being an alien probe, since its journey would then be harder to control or predict.

            I'd love to see this idea made into a fiction book, agreed! Very Arthur C. Clark-ish. I just don't think it needs to be in a scientific paper.
