    Yup to an extent I think they overstated it a bit. The shooter has to at a minimum keep the weapon extremely stable. 1 inch of barrel movement at 1000 meters creates a miss so big the recipient wouldn't even know you are shooting at him unless he was alone, in a quiet area like the woods or middle of an open field.

    And regardless of the laser out at 1K plus the environment will toss in some surprises. Just wind even shooting over a small body of water can make enough of a change. 500 meters the forces aren't that much of an influence as the round still has plenty of juice to keep things tidy.

    And sometimes when you are getting shot at it takes a bit more discipline than what a novice would have. It is cool tech it will come down in price though. After the USMC I started shooting long and ultra long range precision target for a hobby and this won't ever be on my rifle but for military and law enforcement, hunters etc good device.
