    Honestly, a lot of women I know have used pregnancy as an excuse to gain 50-60lbs. Nobody really talks about it, but losing "baby weight" isn't that hard if you maintain a healthy lifestyle throughout your pregnancy.

      This. You only need a few hundred extra calories a day and if you follow that guideline and keep at least somewhat active you will not gain a crazy amount of weight nor will you have trouble knocking the few extra pounds off post-pregnancy.
