Very interesting. I was wondering why Microsoft wasn't announcing any type of VR for the Xbox One as two of the three other gaming giants had. This is the reason why. This is good news though. Even though I'm not an Xbox One owner, having the support of Microsoft means that Windows gamers like me have the technological support we need OS-wise. I wonder if they will work on a VR OS specifically. Time will tell.
Windows 10 and HoloLens is likely to be their answer for a VR OS. It's not specifically for gaming like Oculus Rift but seems to navigate in a niche between practical work and entertainment. I'm kinda excited to see where they go with HoloLens because the technology looks good so far.
