150-pound tortoise found strolling in Los Angeles suburb
At least officers didn't have to issue a speeding ticket when they spotted a giant tortoise ambling down a street suburban Los Angeles. The Alhambra Police Department joked on its Facebook page that the 150-pound reptile was captured Saturday afternoon after a brief pursuit.

I remember when I was snorkeling off the coast of Mexico and checking out the turtles relaxing at the bottom of the ocean. One came up for air and I watch this thing grow in size as it got closer to the surface, it was an awesome experience. At one point it got so damn close that I thought it would bite me, its head was HUGE. Fuck, will never forget that experience...
