As do Mars colonies.I still think living off world is a really bad idea.
Sooner or later we're going to need to get off this planet. We'll make the biosphere uninhabitable by human life, another asteroid will hit or we'll simply last long enough that the sun will burn out its fuel and expand until the surface of the planet melts. Our survival as a species ultimately requires us to move out into the solar system and eventually the rest of the galaxy. Otherwise we're effectively keeping our eggs in the same basket, and on the day when that basket fails we'll have nothing left.
