The fact is this is another newcomer industry that is going to be bullied and pushed out by incumbents with powerful pockets, there is no way Vegas, Atlantic City and the handful of other power players are going to just say oh that's cool. They need to protect their cash cows and if all of a sudden you can gamble from the couch, that's bad for their towns, business and tourism industries. I think of it like the television people and streaming services, they hate them and want us to conform to old tech to pad their profit, ie NBC talking about maybe limiting Olympic streaming so more watch their primetime cobbled together experience.
