Only 4 northern white rhinos left on Earth
And then there were four. Nabire, a female northern white rhino, died of a ruptured cyst on Monday at a Czech Republic Zoo, leaving only four known northern white rhinos on Earth. The 31-year-old rhino's cyst was so huge, it was untreatable, a rhino curator at the Dvur Kralove zoo said in a statement.

At this point I would try anything from cloning to mixing with the southern rhinos. Extinction is a cruel price to pay for having a horn.
Yeah, and it's a lot harder to bring something back than it is to make sure it doesn't go extinct in the first place. We can sci-fi all we want, but something needs to be done.
To be honest, an Adam and Eve scenario isn't feasible. Repopulating the world will be nigh on impossible for an elderly rhino and his weakened group.
This is true. I guess they will wipe out the narwhals next.
Except narwhals live in the Arctic so they are a lot harder to get to than rhinos.
