The trouble is that the science around statins is tainted by the sheer amount of money involved. This study is arguing that statins don't have real side effects so people should take more? No bias in that result??
I wonder who funded this study?
Statins are the ultimate cash cow. I hope someday there will be a reckoning with these drugs like with thalidomide and ceo heads roll. And what you indicated is definitely true. I've added links for those who have their doubts and want to believe these drugs are innocent.
