Morgan Freeman's Goddaughter Stabbed to Death in NYC
The granddaughter of actor Morgan Freeman was stabbed to death in Manhattan early Sunday morning, police said. Police responded to a call of a stabbing just before 3 a.m. in Washington Heights. When officers arrived at 450 W. 162nd St., they found E'Dena Hines, 33, lying in the street. She had been stabbed multiple times in the torso, according to police.

So is this Goddaughter or Grandaughter? Conflicting titles.

Freeman's publicist said Sunday that Hines was technically the actor's step-granddaughter but that he always referred to her as his granddaughter. Police initially said that she was his goddaughter.
Seems like the original title must have been changed post-haste.
Article title says granddaughter as well. Looks like OP just messed up the title.
