Windows 8 isn't enterprise ready yet. No one gets Microsoft's attention like enterprise. Windows 7 will still be available until Microsoft fixes Windows 8. (And I'm using 8 right now and I like it - but I would never recommend it to an enterprise yet. Only Windows 7 for now.)
