Amazing moment giant manta ray 'asks' divers for life-saving help
This footage captures the moment a giant manta ray turned to divers to save her after large fishing hooks got lodged under her eye. The three-metre-wide ray, nicknamed Freckles, can be seen approaching the group on Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia. She flips over in the water, revealing several metal hooks dangerously embedded close to her right eye.
