The worst thing about the ACA is how much farther away it takes us from single payer.
There was a big reason I was opposed to the ACA. I recognized the same problem that the majority of people recognized. However, the problem wasn't actually being addressed in the solution. If someone is hemorrhaging, you don't assess the situation by saying "There's blood. That person obviously needs to drink more water so they don't get dehydrated from a lack of blood. That will solve the problem."
Guarantee it will turn out to be way more than this "estimate".
