I want to see some more detailed analysis of the actual rebel groups fighting in Syria. I've seen various reports indicating up to 100 distinct political and military groups opposing Assad. Do we really know so little about reality on the ground? It seems we abstract everything to "rebel groups", "moderate rebel groups" (who are they?), "ISIS", and the nation-state actors.
