    I'm completely clueless when it comes to traditional painting but I did notice that the canvas wasn't toned first, is this typical of Bob Ross paintings? By the way awesome job.

      Nope, you are right. This is completely non-typical of Bob Ross. I'm actually working very differently of how it is supposed to be done. I only have some acrylic paints, so I work them like I typically do: quick dry layers and furious mixing on the palette and working area.

      I guess It's not even a Bob Ross, because I am not following his actual methodology. I'm just trying to replicate the spirit of Bob Ross with whatever few tools I have :)

      Edit: I really like the grab of dried up gesso. I don't usually put down any base coat. I like how I can feel where I am working on dry canvas, and where I am working on previous layers. I guess I would do it in different manner with oils thou...
