    As a Wisconsin resident, I applaud my Governor's next presidential run, and can only hope he torpedoes himself in an epic way.

    Also, part of my thinks this was not an accidental leak. They wanted to start drumming up attention leading to the "official" announcement on Monday, especially among the Sunday morning political talk shows.

      That would make a lot of sense given how the field is overrun and he is "late" to announce. Any publicity he can get he will go for I'm sure.

        I would expect to see a lot of publicity stunts among the GOP field as they try to grab the media's attention leading up the primaries. It should make for good entertainment.

          Yes especially with the inclusion of Trump and a few other far - right notables.

            Mr. Trump is a true national treasure and I hope he runs in many more election cycles to come.

            Also, I think it will be interesting to compare the GOP primary to the Democrats primary, with their relatively shallow candidate pool.

              Yes Mr. Trump ups the (entertainment) value of any election cycle. I do wonder if any other Democrats will announce or if they fear they will not be able to beat the Clinton train.

              @fanficmistress -

              I think the only other Democrat of political weight who might run is Biden, but that's a long shot.
