    Actually, you can download Ubuntu Core and run as a virtual machine on any PC. From Ubuntu:Snappy

    "Ubuntu Core is available as a KVM image, a OVA image, and as a Vagrant image for local development on Ubuntu, and as a cloud image on Azure, the Google Compute Engine, and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud."
