Something's wrong when people who accidentally shoot kids get to keep their guns. Kasey Wilson lives in rural Missouri. He is in his mid-twenties, married with children, and runs his own lawn care business. On October 28, 2013, as his kids played in the front yard with four-year-old Zoie Dougan, the daughter of a visiting friend, Wilson borrowed a rifle from next door, went into his backyard, closed one eye, and shot across the lawn toward a pile of trash.

I added a link. I know it's not the exact same issue, but I thought it was relevant. It sets up an interesting juxtaposition.
I have to agree, that while some choices are considered criminal but are essentially innocent and not dangerous there are other behaviours that are seen as "cute" or even "cool" that are however from a logical standpoint ridiculously dangerous. Thanks for the RL.
