The Solar System's Most Violent Moon, Io, May Have An Underground Ocean Of Magma
When we look at all the rocky worlds in our Solar System — planets, moons, comets and asteroids — their surfaces are all filled with interesting geological features: mountains, valleys, craters and more. In many ways, these are battle scars from spending billions of years under the assault of impacts, weather, erosion, and the influence of the Sun and the other planets. But one moon stands apart, and is unlike all the other solid bodies we see.
