Same here. Years ago I started reading about quantum physics, mostly thanks to the documentary "What the bleep do we know", heck, I am even ambassador for it in Belgium (which means getting TWO newsletters instead of ONE every month :-P ). Anyway, I am on that level of understanding it just a bit and still thinking it is for the far and not forseeable future to have this used to our advances. Reading the article was like hearing a timetraveller speak about his world in the far future. It's just amazing how technology speeds up with this. I do not think that even scientists (can) comprehend what possibilities this technology contains. That makes it a bit scary, but on the other hand, it is also crazy fun! I am a Linux user and love to tinker with the computer, but this type of technology makes Linux, but mostly me, look like something from a prehistoric era. Which excites me. :-) Finally some progress. Finally we can shake off a principle (binary) found/invented in 1679 (for god's sake, THAT is old fashioned, isn't it?) and all head into a possibly better future. Or worse. Who knows?
