"Facebook will never be cool again. But it’s rich, so it can buy cool."
Hes got a point... no matter how uncool and mainstream facebook is, its basically an institution now, its a part of the daily life of many and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
I think this is the important point. Even if teens are looking somewhere else for their private sharing, they do use facebook as their "public face" to some extent. Facebooks ability to convince businesses to make facebook pages and so on makes it seem unlikely that it could disappear easily.
I never used it. That being said,I agree with the assessment. It is becoming My Space,which I also never used.
