Spent by the UK government on the siege against Julian Assange
Julian Assange has been effectively detained without charge since December 2010. Ecuador has stated that Assange can stay indefinitely. That doesn't bode well for taxpayers.

And I thought I had cabin fever. I congratulate this guy on retaining his sanity.
Because they are the ones who have no say in how their tax money is spent.If those who started this rigamarole had to pay through the nose,this whole sordid affair would have come to a screeching halt in a week,maybe less.
