Nokia Is Gearing Up for a Mobile Comeback
Nokia is hiring software experts, testing new products and seeking sales partners as it plots its return to the mobile phone and consumer tech arena it abandoned with the sale of its handset business. Once the world's biggest maker of mobile phones, the Finnish firm was wrongfooted by the rise of smartphones and eclipsed by Apple and Samsung. It sold its handset business to Microsoft in late 2013 and has since focused squarely on making telecoms network equipment.

I think Nokia can definitely make it's way back but it will be incredibly hard to build up some meaningful marketshare. I'd welcome it though, generally competition is always good and I always liked Nokias products.
The mobile phone space in insanely though due to the innovation we have seen in the past decade (especially by samsung & apple), Nokia better be ready to adapt and adapt hard otherwise they will end up like blackberry.
