House votes 325-91 to pass Innovation Act, first anti-patent-troll bill
he Innovation Act, a bill with measures aimed to stop "patent troll" lawsuits, passed the US House of Representatives this morning on a 325-91 vote. Several amendments that would have stripped out key parts of the bill were defeated.

In short: If the senate passes this they will be required to reveal the company or person that is actually going to gain by winning the lawsuit (can't hide behind a shell company). Also if a patent troll sues you and you win, they will have to pay your legal fees.
Holy shit! the government is actually doing work.
